Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Safe Harbor Children’s Advocacy Center.
Our volunteers provide vital support needed for successful operation. We offer a variety of opportunities to help. The following list is as diverse and unique as the services that we provide.
CASA – Court Appointed Special Advocate
A CASA volunteer is a trained citizen who is appointed by a judge to represent the best interest of a child in court. The CASA volunteer is assigned one case at a time and visits the child on a weekly basis. Please see the CASA page on our website for more detailed information and requirements.
- Computer Data Entry
- Family Follow-Up
- Volunteer Work Days – Special projects or repairs at the agency
- Gardening, Cleaning, Grounds & Maintenance
Contact email@example.com for more information.
- Pinwheels for Prevention
- Lifeline Gala
- Biking for Bravery
- Badges and Bravery Jailbreak 5K
Please email firstname.lastname@example.org if you are interested in volunteering or if you have questions. We will arrange for an interview to discuss your volunteer interests.
Due to the confidentiality and gravity of child abuse cases, we require prospective volunteers have a criminal background check.
The work is very rewarding and we look forward to meeting with those that want to give back to our community through Safe Harbor.
Thank you for your interest and please feel free to call Lauren Miller, CASA Manager, at 269-673-3791, should you have any questions.
