Children Trust Michigan, also known as CTM, was established by the Michigan Legislature through Public Act 249/250 of 1982, the Michigan Chapter of Prevent Child Abuse America. CTM serves as a voice for Michigan’s children and families and promotes their health, safety, and welfare by funding effective local programs and services that prevent child abuse and neglect.
Safe Harbor CAC is the prevention council for Allegan County. CTM is helping to raise funds for local prevention programs through this tax campaign. Because Safe Harbor is the prevention council for Allegan County, we currently receive support from CTM and will receive support from this campaign.
Allegan County residents are able to donate $5, $10, or any amount they choose to the Children Trust Michigan fund on the Michigan tax form 4642. Every dollar raised after reaching the threshold of $650 will come directly to Safe Harbor’s prevention programs for the next two years.
Please visit our prevention page for more information. All of our prevention programs are FREE and with your support, they will continue to be provided to our community at no cost.
