What is Children’s Trust Fund (CTF)?
Children’s Trust Fund, also known as CTF, was established by the Michigan Legislature through Public Act 249/250 of 1982, the Michigan Chapter of Prevent Child Abuse America. CTF serves as a voice for Michigan’s children and families and promotes their health, safety, and welfare by funding effective local programs and services that prevent child abuse and neglect.
How does this relate to Allegan County and Safe Harbor?
Safe Harbor CAC is the prevention council for Allegan County. CTF is helping to raise funds for local prevention programs through this tax campaign. Because Safe Harbor is the prevention council for Allegan County, we currently receive support from CTF and will receive support from this campaign.
What can you to help?
Allegan County residents are able to donate $5, $10, or any amount they choose to the Michigan Children’s Trust fund on the Michigan tax form 4642. Every dollar raised after reaching the threshold of $650 will come directly to Safe Harbor’s prevention programs for the next two years.
